Der Sommer beginnt, und Julius Roberts füttert auf seiner kleinen Farm in Dorset am Morgen sein Lamm und seine Ziege, ehe er ein köstliches Frühstück aus gebratenem Spargel und pochiertem Ei auf Toast zubereitet. Mit grünen Bohnen und Erbsen aus seinem Gemüsegarten zaubert er zu Mittag ein schmackhaftes Risotto auf die Teller, ehe es am Abend nach einem Bad im eiskalten Meer exquisite, am offenen Feuer gegrillte Zitronenhühnchenspieße gibt.
